American Exports: Ventura Alvarado and Club America capture Liga MX title with 3-0 win over Tigres
American right back Ventura Alvarado started and went 82 minutes to help Club America capture their 12th Mexican league title on Sunday night with a 3-0 second-leg victory over Tigres at the Estadio Azteca, overturning a 1-0 first-leg loss.
Michael Arroyo (36th minute), Pablo Aguilar (61st minute) and Oribe Peralta (78th minute) got the goals for the hosts in the final match at the helm for America head coach Antonio "El Turco" Mohamed.
