The Seattle Sounders made their first move of the offseason on Monday, bolstering their back line with the addition of 31-year-old former Bolton defender and English Premier League veteran Tyrone Mears.
Mears will be added to Seattle’s roster pending receipt of his P-1 Visa and International Transfer Certificate. Per Major League Soccer and club policy, additional terms of the deal are not being disclosed.
