Despite outshooting and outpossessing the Dynamo, Columbus Crew SC leave Houston empty-handed
In their first match of the 2015 MLS season, things nearly went as planned for Columbus Crew SC. They dominated on the stats sheet, outshooting and outpossessing the Houston Dynamo by wide margins Saturday night. But they couldn't find a goal, and ultimately lost the opener 1-0 in Houston.
"We lost the game," Crew SC head coach Gregg Berhalter said flatly. "Having said that, I think our performance was pretty good. I give Houston Dynamo a lot of credit of winning the game. We had a lot of chances, and I think we did everything but score."
