CARY, N.C. – The University of Virginia moved one step closer to capturing their seventh College Cup crown on Friday, beating the University of Maryland-Baltimore County 1-0 in a national semifinal at WakeMed Soccer Park.
Philadelphia Union academy product Darius Madison scored the match’s lone goal, taking advantage of a UMBC turnover to put the Cavaliers up in the fifth minute.
