GUADALAJARA, Mexico – Greg Garza left the field early with a knee injury on Friday, as Club Tijuana overcame Morelia 4-2 in Estadio Caliente to extend its winning run to five games and move into first place in Liga MX.
The left back was playing his usual solid game in defense until he was brought off to make way for Joe Corona in the 52nd minute. The substitution looked more precautionary than serious, and there has been no official word from the club about how long he may be out.
